TGH IN CELEBRATION OF OUR EXTRAORDINARY NURSES Dear Nurses, As we celebrate National Nurses Week, I'm grateful for the opportunity to express my admiration and respect for all that you do and all that you represent at Tampa General. This week is a celebration, but it's also a moment to pause and recognize what I have witnessed firsthand: the difference you make for our patients, their families and one another in every setting - across our hospitals, ambulatory sites and clinics, and throughout our health system. Your impact goes far beyond skills and expertise. It is the power of compassionate care delivered with professionalism, steadiness and heart. Every single day, you demonstrate a level of dedication that is truly remarkable. I see it in the way you meet people in some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives with calm presence, clinical excellence and humanity. Your resilience shows up when a shift is heavy, when the work is emotionally and physically taxing - and yet you continue to show up for the next patient, the next family, the next colleague, with the same commitment to doing what's right. It's in the extra moment you take to ensure the medication is correct, the plan is understood and the patient is safe.
